About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Commercial to lead and expand our commercial strategy across various markets and product lines. This role is hands on and involves business development, partner engagement, sales operations, and commercial planning. The successful candidate will help turn our innovations into revenue-generating solutions and be a key part of our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine a B2B commercial strategy for all products to maximise impact, including healthcare provider-facing sales, revenue-generating strategic partnerships and product sales into adjacent markets.
  • Conduct market sizing, pricing strategy, and competitive analyses.
  • Set commercial priorities aligned with company goals and stakeholder needs.

Business Development & Sales Leadership

  • Build on relationships with healthcare providers, insurers, and channel partners to deliver sales, growth and impact through pilots and long-term contracts.
  • Execute on business development strategies, including building and closing revenue-generating partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and executive meetings.
  • Design and plan the commercial team structure, and build a clear execution plan to meet company goals.
  • Oversee pipeline and revenue forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Lead on the development of marketing materials and external-facing documentation with the support of our internal team.

Cross-Functional Influence & Strategic Thinking

  • Promote a commercial mindset across the company.
  • Translate technical and clinical advancements into clear, compelling commercial value propositions.
  • Ensure internal teams meet commercial goals and help shape internal planning through a revenue and growth lens .

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role in a start-up, scale-up, or high-growth company with minimum 3 years leading a commercial team and bringing a product to market
  • 10+ years in senior commercial roles in healthcare, med-tech, pharma, or digital health.
  • Ability to build and scale commercial teams, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Prior experience in the med-tech or healthcare sector.

Highly Desirable

  • Companion diagnostic or other medical device experience highly preferable.
  • Understanding of clinical, regulatory, and commercial dynamics in healthcare.
