We offer digital programmes designed to support people with weight-related conditions, including obesity, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension. While weight loss is the main goal for many of the people we support, our approach isn't just about the numbers on the scales - t's about improving your health, self-confidence, and quality of life.

Our proven strategy has helped us become award-winning and the largest digital health provider treating diet-related conditions in Europe. We operate within the healthcare systems to give people access to the medical care they need. We are rapidly expanding across Europe, including the UK, Switzerland, Germany and now Poland. You will be joining an organization that has treated almost 1 million people to date and is continuing to scale up.

The role:

As Oviva scales its clinical services across the UK, this role will be responsible for aligning clinician workforce capacity with evolving patient demand. The role is central to delivering timely, compliant, and high-quality care across services. It combines strategic leadership, operational design, and team management, all while supporting clinician wellbeing and performance. This function will champion innovation in workforce planning; integrating data, policy, and care models to future-proof Oviva’s resource planning capabilities.

What are we looking for you to bring:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in strategic workforce or capacity planning, ideally within healthcare or operational services.
  • Experience managing and scaling operational teams and leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK healthcare workforce structures, compliance, and flexible staffing models.
  • High analytical competency and experience using data to drive workforce strategies.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills across teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with clinical bank models, task-shifting strategies, or hybrid care models.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare operations, business, management).
  • Additional training or experience in workforce planning, healthcare compliance, or digital health preferred.
  • Lead the development and execution of Oviva’s UK capacity planning strategy, integrating data-driven forecasting with operational planning.
  • Own the systems and governance that support scalable resource planning, caseload allocation, and clinician deployment across services.
  • Be responsible for operational coordination of the UK Clinical Bank.
  • Work alongside the clinical delivery management team ensuring daily and long-term deployment of flexible clinicians to meet contractual, regulatory, and patient access targets.
  • Partner with Clinical and Commercial stakeholders to ensure resource planning supports quality care, cost efficiency, and service innovation.
  • Lead initiatives that optimise scheduling systems, workforce models, and clinician utilisation frameworks.
  • Track KPIs such as wait times, bank clinician performance, and workforce gaps; provide regular reporting and insights.
  • Ensure legal, clinical, and operational compliance in workforce strategies—balancing employment law with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement in workforce adaptability, clinician experience, and cross-service responsiveness.
