Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Head of Care Group for Specialist Medicine to support the Divisional Director of Operations and to hold specialties to account for delivering objectives within the Annual Plan. The role covers Dermatology, General Medicine, Rheumatology and Neurology.

You will lead performance management, develop recovery plans where needed, oversee delivery plans, and ensure robust planning and risk management across divisions, working with senior clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Management qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Masters degree level qualification or proven equivalent knowledge.
• Evidence of substantial continuing professional and personal development, including professional management training, strategic planning and performance, people management, budget management and service development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Divisional Director of Operations in performance management, ensuring delivery of targets.
• Hold all specialties to account for delivering objectives and milestones within the Annual Plan.
• Develop, test and implement recovery plans to address underperformance across specialties.
• Provide oversight of delivery plans and risk management across the division.
