Head of Business Development - Marine and Maritime Instrumentation & Equipment - Manchester / Oxfordshire
Are you a strategic technical sales leader with a substantial track record of BD experience with a degree in engineering or science?
Do you have knowledge and experience within the marine and maritime sector?
Have you ever had experience around project management with cross-functional teams?
Are you within a commutable distance of either Manchester or Didcot (OX) and do you hold a full UK driving licence?
Would you be interested in working with a high expertise team developing and supplying a range of physical modelling technology for hydraulic, marine and coastal research facilities?
If the answers to the above are yes, this is an ideal opportunity for you to enhance your sales management career with a global leader in a niche marine and maritime consultancy sector within their growing equipment division. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with excellent organisation and communication skills to secure and monitor the delivery of existing and future projects.
The role will allow you to actively promote the profile of our client's equipment and to shape their existing strategic group marketing plan leading to organic growth of the group's annual turnover by 30% over the next three to four years.
With their equipment being of a specialist nature, the role would suit someone with an engineering or scientific background with extensive experience of leading and managing a dedicated team within the agreed FY budget.
