Head of Business Continuity, Risk and Major Incident Planning

Location: Wolverhampton City Centre

Contract Type: Temporary or Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking a Head of Business Continuity, Risk, and Major Incident Planning to join their Office of the University Secretary. This role is pivotal in enhancing the University's operational resilience and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management and business continuity frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Board of Governors and the Vice Chancellor, to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Design and maintain the University's Major Incident Plan, ensuring alignment with regional and national frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice and training across the University, empowering staff to effectively manage risks and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
