Job description

Join to apply for the Head of Business Change role at AXA Partners.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Business Change to join the Operations area of our business. This role is responsible for ensuring that the transformation agenda and the resulting initiatives, aligned with AXA Partners' strategy, are well designed and executed, with expected impacts and benefits delivered through comprehensive and consistent roll-out and change management plans.

The role acts as a key cornerstone across all functions, providing expert advice and coaching to stakeholders and teams to ensure best-practice execution of the AXA Partners UK & Ireland approach to transformation.

Furthermore, the role leads the Transformation Programme through effective programme and project management, building and maintaining a consolidated transformation roadmap, tracking progress, identifying issues and risks, and proactively contributing solutions or escalations.

Additionally, the role works closely with teams such as workforce management, financial measurement, and excom to ensure that the organization’s resources, culture, and priorities align with its transformation goals.

You will be based in our Redhill office with a hybrid work model. We operate a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The Head of Business Change will oversee transformation initiatives across digital, Motor & Home (M&H), Travel, and continuous improvement functions. This includes driving change management strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning training and development with organizational goals.
  2. Digital Transformation Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience, collaborating with IT and digital teams for successful integration.
  3. Motor & Home (M&H) Lead: Optimize processes and improve service delivery within M&H, aligning strategies with business objectives.
  4. Travel Function Management: Lead initiatives to optimize processes and improve service delivery within Travel, ensuring alignment with overall strategies.
  5. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Promote a culture of ongoing process optimization across all functions, utilizing methodologies in collaboration with the Group to facilitate projects and measure outcomes.
  6. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to equip employees with necessary skills, monitor their effectiveness, and adjust as needed.
Candidate Profile:
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven success in leading transformation and operational improvement programs.
  • Experience exploiting new opportunities and managing change in large organizations.
  • Knowledge of lean processes, agile methodologies, and customer-centric service design.
  • Experience guiding people through change to achieve improvements and customer focus.
  • Experience implementing new technology assets to drive process and customer improvements.
  • Background in digital and software development, with understanding of agile practices.
  • Familiarity with Programme Management processes and structures.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive alignment and delivery at all levels.
  • Significant experience in change management and digital transformation within large multinational companies.
  • Managerial and talent development skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Degree in business or related field.
  • Experience at senior/executive level managing multiple transformation projects in complex environments.
