Job summary

Elite Staffing Solutions is seeking a Head of Broking & Client Growth in the UK. You will lead the broking team, manage a portfolio of SME and Mid-Market clients, and drive new business while supporting client retention.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, shape strategy, and enjoy significant autonomy and visibility within a growing independent broker. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial insurance broking background across SME and Mid-Market
• Proven track record in client development and retention
• Good insurer market knowledge and established market relationships
• Experience mentoring, leading or managing colleagues
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Understanding FCA regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing the broking team
• Managing and growing a portfolio of SME and Mid-Market commercial clients
• Driving new business and supporting client retention
• Building strong, long-term relationships with insurers
• Providing technical oversight on complex commercial placements
• Identifying and developing new growth opportunities
• Working closely with the Managing Director on strategic initiatives
• Contributing to the wider direction and growth of the business
