Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a senior Head of AWS Technology to lead our UK AWS practice in a hybrid setup. You will set the vision, drive architectural standards and mentor a team of senior architects while partnering with clients to deliver high-quality, secure, scalable cloud solutions.

You will champion AI/GenAI adoption on AWS, influence technology strategy across sectors and manage pre-sales opportunities to grow EPAM’s AWS footprint. Strong leadership and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS architecture experience (10+ years).
• Current expertise in AI and GenAI on AWS and applying to client solutions.
• Proven leadership in building and managing senior technical teams.
• Track record of shaping, estimating and winning cloud engagements in pre-sales.
• Commercial acumen with familiarity of consulting operating models and P&L impact.
• Experience with AWS partner programs and competency frameworks.
• AWS certifications (Professional level) and related specialties.
• Excellent communication with engineers, senior clients and AWS partners.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision, architecture standards and engineering practices for the AWS practice.
• Lead adoption of AI and GenAI on AWS, including Bedrock, SageMaker and RAG patterns.
• Provide hands-on technical oversight on complex engagements and ensure quality delivery.
• Establish and nurture the AWS partnership through competencies, programs and joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing team of AWS architects and engineers.
• Drive pre-sales and solution design for major AWS opportunities.
• Create thought leadership, reusable assets and propositions differentiating EPAM in cloud.
