Job summary

EPAM Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver advanced AI and agentic solutions for clients, with involvement in pre-sales activities to drive new business opportunities. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to architect scalable, secure AI‑driven systems, evaluate frameworks, and mentor engineering teams, staying current with GenAI and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML and Agentic solutions in production.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks and model lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also allowed).
• Strong Python or equivalent programming skills.
• Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, CI/CD for AI and production monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities and proposal development is desirable.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture and implementation of AI and agentic solutions from concept to production.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities, including client workshops and proposal development.
• Evaluate AI/ML and agent frameworks to meet project requirements.
• Guide teams in best practices for model development, deployment and monitoring in production environments.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Mentor and support engineering teams in AI/ML methodologies and technologies.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, GenAI and cloud technologies.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations and thought leadership within the AI domain.
• Partner with sales and account teams to identify and qualify AI opportunities and help shape winning solutions for clients.
