Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Head of Delivery (Apprenticeships) to lead a team of around 9 Tutor/Assessors from home/field based locations. The role focuses on learner journey, performance, quality, and successful apprenticeship delivery.

You will oversee attendance, reviews, gateway processes, OTJ and timely completions, driving improvements and coaching staff to excellence. Knowledge of Ofsted and Aptem is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering apprenticeships and managing delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and inspection readiness.
• Proven track record in performance managing Tutor/Assessors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery team of circa 9 Tutor/Assessors.
• Oversee the learner journey, attendance, reviews, and timely completions.
• Lead learner and employer reviews to improve programme success.
• Drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment quality.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement change.
• Support quality and performance across apprenticeship standards.
• Share best practice, coach and performance manage the team to achieve excellence.
• Stay up to date with key policy developments around teaching, learning and assessment.
