Job summary

SCL Skills is seeking a Head of Quality, Teaching and Learning to set the standard for learning across apprenticeship and adult provision, including subcontracted delivery. You will own the Quality Improvement Strategy, be the authority on Ofsted frameworks, and lead a team coaching hundreds of trainers to excel.

This is a strategic, influence-led role with senior leadership impact. You will bring substantial experience leading quality in an apprenticeship provider, a track record of improving

Qualifications

• Level 5 teaching qualification (DET or equivalent) required.
• Proven experience leading quality in apprenticeship provision.
• Credibility with senior leaders and boards.
• Experience representing a provider during inspection (Ofsted nominee valued).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Quality Improvement Strategy for the division.
• Set the standard for learning experience across apprenticeship and adult provision.
• Be the authority on Ofsted's EIF and FE/Skills Inspection Toolkit.
• Lead a coaching-focused team to support every trainer.
• Collaborate with Skills SLT to shape strategy and innovation.
• Drive improvements and outcomes beyond compliance.
