Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Head of Delivery (Apprenticeships) to lead a team of nine Tutor/Assessors and oversee the learner journey for apprenticeship delivery. The role is home/field based, with strategic responsibility within the SLT for learner performance, quality and overall delivery success.

The ideal candidate will have current delivery management experience in apprenticeships, familiarity with Ofsted, and a track record of performance management.

Qualifications

• Current experience in an Apprenticeship Delivery Manager or similar.
• Knowledge of Ofsted.
• Experience of performance managing Tutor/Assessors.
• Experience working with Apprenticeship Standards.
• Knowledge of Aptem would be an advantage.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery team of circa 9 Tutor/Assessors.
• Oversee the learner journey, including attendance, reviews, and timely completions.
• Lead learner and employer review process to improve programme success.
• Drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment quality.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement meaningful change.
• Support the team with quality and performance across apprenticeship standards.
• Share best practice, coach and performance manage Tutor/Assessors.
• Keep up to date with policy developments around teaching, learning and assessment.
