Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director of AI ML & Cloud Security to own the Cyber Architecture and Solutions’ relationship with business units, R&D, and the Enterprise AI programme. You will triage GenAI/agentic use cases, assess AI architecture standards, and guide feasible projects into delivery.

You will partner with the AI governance forums and senior leadership to govern AI risk and enable rapid, safe AI innovation.

Qualifications

Significant experience in cyber security, AI governance or technology risk, including leading teams.
Leading AI use-case intake and triage with automated intake and tracking.
Translating AI security constraints into practical guidance for business projects.
Owning business-side shadow AI discovery and remediation of unsanctioned tools.

Responsibilities

Own Cyber Architecture and Solutions’ relationship with GSK business functions, R&D and Enterprise AI.
Lead AI use-case intake and triage against AI architecture standards.
Classify use cases for EU AI Act exposure and apply risk framing.
Own intake decisions and sign off pipeline records.
Represent security in AI governance forums and Responsible AI council.
Own AI risk scoring across the use-case portfolio.
Run shadow AI discovery and bring sanctioned tools into governance.
Maintain security position with leadership when funded programs cannot proceed safely.
Escalate as needed and align with senior scientists and business leaders.
Sit on Enterprise AI programme board and quarterly demand forecast.
