Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director to lead Applied AI & Data Transformation for Core Data within the CIB. You will define and execute strategies to manage, automate, and scale Core Data capabilities, ensuring data is discoverable, consumable, and fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data strategy, transformation, or a comparable senior role in financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of core data domains and their role in downstream workflows.
• Experience with data cataloguing, metadata, and API design concepts.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Experience designing or overseeing automation for data management and operations.
• Demonstrated delivery through influence and cross-functional partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale capabilities.
• Team leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic direction and alignment of Core Data with the Data AI-Readiness framework.
• Define and implement an executable roadmap for agent-ready Core Data across discoverability and contexts.
• Partner with Technology to make Core Data assets discoverable and consumable by people and machines.
• Ensure Core Data assets are registered in Compass and integrated into Fusion.
• Shape exposure of reference data via distribution APIs to meet usage patterns.
• Establish semantic layers with business meaning and relationships for AI consumers.
• Identify and remove complexity and duplication in Core Data processes.
• Develop data quality assessment capabilities and transparent reporting.
• Evaluate automation approaches including rules-based, AI/ML, and agentic solutions.
• Reduce access friction and enable self-service for users.
