ASOS is seeking a Head of Engineering (AI Enablement) to design, orchestrate, and deploy agentic AI across the organisation. You’ll lead architectural decisions for intelligent systems, partner with senior stakeholders, and scale AI capabilities to drive outcomes across product, fashion, supply chain, and operations.

Qualifications

• Retail environment exposure preferred.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering production-grade AI or data-driven systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AI/ML and agentic AI systems, with ability to guide solution design.
• Track record of turning AI/advanced tech into scalable deployment.
• Experience translating strategic goals into technical delivery.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across domains.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary AI engineering team across key business domains.
• Allocate engineering capability to strategic initiatives based on impact.
• Embed best practices for agentic systems, AI workflows, LLM integrations, and AI tooling.
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture focused on rapid iteration and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Fashion, Supply Chain, Finance, and Technology.
• Translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions and prioritize delivery opportunities.
• Shape AI roadmaps with domain leaders and identify high-ROI automation use cases.
• Deliver end-to-end agentic AI solutions including copilots and workflow agents.
• Ensure progression from discovery to production with AI-native and human-in-the-loop models.
• Provide technical leadership on LLM architectures, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ensure scalable, secure, observable, cost-efficient AI systems and governance.
• Collaborate with platform teams to align with Azure AI strategy and standards.
• Support reshaping hybrid-human agentic organizations.
