Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head & Neck Specialist Nurse to join the Head and Neck Cancer Nursing Team in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will lead clinical care, manage a caseload, run nurse-led clinics, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised cancer care from diagnosis through survivorship and palliative care when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cancer services and understanding of head and neck oncology.
• Ability to provide compassionate support and communicate complex information clearly.
• Experience delivering nurse-led clinics and caseload management.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice, support, and advocacy from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship and palliative care as appropriate.
• Act as a key worker, manage a caseload of patients, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver high-quality, personalised care and contribute to service development.
