Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7) to join the Head & Neck team at Northampton General Hospital in Highfield. The role is based in a multidisciplinary setting, focusing on head and neck cancer, complex airway management and laryngectomy patients.

Full-time and part-time options are available, with 37.5 hours per week. The successful SLT will provide advanced assessment and treatment for swallowing and communication

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Head and Neck Cancer (H&N)
• Tracheostomy trained
• Videofluoroscopy trained
• Surgical voice restoration
• Advanced dysphagia training
• Experience with Laryngectomy patients
• SVR (Surgical Voice Restoration) experience

Aufgaben

• Work within the Head and Neck MDT at Northampton General Hospital.
• Support patients through the Head and Neck Cancer pathway.
• Specialise in Head and Neck Cancer, complex airway management and laryngectomy patients.

Surgical voice restoration
