The role |

As a senior sous chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

  • Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritize nurturing and developing talent within your team, role-modelling a coaching culture within management.
  • Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, ensuring every dish is prepared to high standards, whether through your efforts or by empowering your team.
  • Are experienced in maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding the financial aspects of a kitchen including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and proactively spotting opportunities.
  • Are focused on building a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think quickly and make decisions on the spot.
