Job summary

Bespoke Hotels is seeking a Head Housekeeper for the Arrocar Hotel in Arrochar. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms are spotless and ready for guests, with strict attention to detail and stock management.

You will be accountable for the department’s performance against budgets, uphold health and safety regulations, and train staff to meet company standards within Bespoke’s distinguished portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about hospitality, reliable and eager to learn.
• Strong leadership and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Managing, motivating and leading the housekeeping team to meet the highest cleaning standards and attention to detail.
• Ensuring rooms are ready for guests and serviced to company standards.
• Managing linen stock and liaising with the laundry company as needed.
• Maintaining stock for cleaning materials and placing orders as required.
• Accountable for the department's financial performance against budgets.
• Coordinating with maintenance to ensure areas under Housekeeping are well maintained.
• Ensuring health and safety, fire safety, COSHH and related regulations are followed and records kept up to date.
• Supervising, training and motivating staff to meet company standards and legal requirements.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring staff are courteous and helpful.

Requirements

The ideal person will have strong experience, ideally at least 1-2 years in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn as part of this growing team.

Main Duties Will Include

• Managing, motivating and leading the housekeeping team to ensure the highest cleaning standards are met, with a keen attention to detail.
• Making sure the rooms are ready for the guests to check in and have been serviced up to the company standard.
• Managing and controlling the linen stock and leasing with laundry company when needed.
• Maintaining stock for cleaning material and placing orders accordingly.
• To be accountable for the financial performance of the department against budgets.
• Liaise with maintenance to ensure that the physical conditions of all areas under the Housekeeping control are properly maintained.
• Ensure all heath and safety, fire safety, security and COSSH regulations are adhered to whilst ensuring all records are up to date.
• To supervise, train and motivate team to achieve Company Standards, and also to comply with relevant legislation.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure all staff members are courteous and helpful towards.
