Job summary

Hilton Belfast is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and uphold the high standards guests expect from Hilton. The role requires strong leadership, operational planning and a proactive approach to delivering a flawless guest experience.

This permanent, full-time position involves managing rotas, training staff, inspecting rooms, and collaborating with other departments to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the hotel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Housekeeper or 3+ years as Deputy/Assistant Head Housekeeper in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards.
• Ensure bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house areas meet Hilton's cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Plan daily operations and allocate staff according to occupancy and requirements.
• Manage rotas, productivity and labour costs.
• Recruit, onboard, train and coach team members.
• Conduct regular inspections and address standards promptly.
• Manage performance, attendance and conduct fairly.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to resolve issues.
• Oversee stock, linen, amenities and equipment management.
• Ensure Health & Safety, COSHH and hotel policies are followed.
