Job summary

Care Concern Group's Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home in Warminster is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

The role involves coordinating daily tasks, managing supplies, training staff and collaborating with other departments; alternates weekends, 40 hours weekly, £13.79 per hour, with paid DBS, pension and uniform provided.

Job description

Our purpose-built care home offers outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for the elderly, accommodating up to 60 residents in a comfortable and supportive environment designed to enhance their quality of life.

Head Housekeeper Contract

• £13.79 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment is maintained at all times. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact daily life and overall experience. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
