Job summary

Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Head Housekeeper to take overall responsibility for cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home in Warminster. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensure infection control, and coordinate daily operations to deliver a safe, welcoming environment.

In this key leadership role, you will monitor quality, manage supplies, and provide training and guidance to your team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role.
• Good understanding of cleaning standards, hygiene and infection control.
• Ability to manage workload, priorities and team performance.

Our purpose-built care home offers outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for the elderly, accommodating up to 60 residents in a comfortable and supportive environment designed to enhance their quality of life. As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment is maintained at all times. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact daily life and overall experience. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role

• Contracted to 40 hours per week
