Job summary

Norton Lees Care Home in Sheffield is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, maintain immaculate communal areas and resident rooms, and contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

The role offers a 40-hour contract, with an hourly rate of £13.12, plus a range of benefits and ongoing development opportunities within Agincare’s expanding care network.

Qualifications

• Creating a welcoming environment—keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Leading the housekeeping team.
• Room care with pride—dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage.
• Working together—collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Making a difference through kindness—sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day.

Responsibilities
