Athena Care Homes' Avocet Court Care Home in Ipswich is looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness for residents and visitors.

The role is 30 hours per week on a rota basis, paying £13.19 per hour. We offer a thorough induction, competitive salary enhancements on bank holidays, 28 days’ holiday, and access to Blue Light Card benefits to support our care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets and targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
• Support the management team in the recruitment, induction and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and team is competent in their roles.
• Manage rotas, budgets, stocks and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
• Support, lead, manage and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.

As a Head Housekeeper at Avocet Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of cleanliness within the home.

About The Role

Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Salary

£13.19 per hour.

Shift Pattern

30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location

Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England, IP2 8RS.
