Care Concern Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper for Haling Park Care Home in Croydon, London. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
You will oversee daily operations, monitor quality, manage supplies, and train staff to maintain high hygiene standards in line with infection control and health and safety procedures.
Located in Croydon, London, our care home has been purposely built to support older people in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite & Pallative Care for 62-residents. Head Housekeeper Contract £14.00 per hour Contracted to 35 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment is maintained at all times. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact daily life and overall experience.
You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.
