Job summary

Motel One Manchester is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team at Manchester St Peters Square. You will report to the Area Manager and drive daily operations to exceed guest expectations.

The role offers a competitive rate (£32,000) with a training budget of up to £10,000 per year and extensive career progression opportunities within WGC's hotel services portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Analyse guest data to plan resources and materials required to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with GM, Exec Housekeeper, Hotel Team, HSK team and suppliers to ensure clear communication and best practice.

Your role will include:

• Work to improve productivity and efficiency of room cleaning
• Analyse guest data to plan resources and materials required to meet operational requirements
• Maintain strong working relationship with GM, Exec Housekeeper and Hotel Team, HSK team and suppliers to ensure clear communication and implementation of best practice
• Identify ways to improve Guest Satisfaction
• Adhere to Health and Safety Policy, keep all work areas neat and well organised COSHH/Manual Handling
• Recruit, train, manage and monitor team performance daily/weekly
• Deliver and exceed financial targets
• Manage expenditure and payroll to ensure budgets are achieved
• Participate in training to improve skills and performance
• Solve routine challenges that occur on the job
