Head Housekeeper in Bath urgently needed for a country house hotel with 70+ bedrooms. Lead the day-to-day housekeeping, ensuring high standards across guest rooms and public areas while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

The role offers live-in accommodation, a 40-hour week, and an initial 2–3 month contract with potential to go permanent. Salary is £15 per hour with weekly pay and weekend flexibility as required.

• Experience in Hotel housekeeping supervisory or management is essential
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
• Immediately available, with no prior commitments, notice period or planned holidays
• Able to commit for 2-3 months initially
• Flexible and willing to support the team where needed

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cleaning operations and inspect rooms to ensure excellent standards
• Monitor brand standards and standard operating procedures
• Lead, motivate and develop the Housekeeping team
• Ensure training and competency records are fully completed
• Support with servicing bedrooms when required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest experience
• Provide flexible support across the operation, including occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities:

As Head Housekeeper, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day Housekeeping operation, ensuring guests enjoy consistently high standards throughout their stay.
