Job summary

Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa, located just outside Crewe, is seeking a grounds maintenance operative on a permanent basis. You will care for the hotel’s grounds, plant beds and lawns, and ensure equipment is well maintained to meet hotel standards.

The role requires at least 12 months of grounds experience, IT literacy for admin tasks, and a full UK driving licence. Training opportunities and employee benefits are provided.

• Experience in landscape, nurseries or gardening.

Responsibilities

What will I do?

This is a rare vacancy that has become available due to retirement.

Responsible for the maintenance of the hotel grounds and estate, ensuring all areas meet hotel standards and expectations.

You will plant and nurture all garden areas as well as the upkeep and monitoring of all equipment.

Is this the role for me?

A passion for grounds maintenance Have 12 months ground experience of a large property including the health & safety aspect of the role IT literate as there will be some administration Experience of working in landscape, nurseries or gardening Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Have used ride on mowers, hand tools and chainsaws would be desirable Full UK driving licence Curious to find out more?
