A local council in Chelmsford seeks a dedicated individual for a part-time role in the Community Sport & Wellbeing Team. The candidate will act as a head coach, delivering class sessions to support clients in their mental health journey. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for sports and wellbeing. The position involves working two hours weekly on Sundays, with the potential for more hours based on funding opportunities. Interviews are scheduled for January 26, 2026.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Community Sport & Wellbeing Team at Chelmsford City Council with the ongoing With you in Mind project held at the South Woodham Ferrers leisure Centre.
The post holder will be required to work 2 hours per week on Sundays from 9.30am to 11.30am. You may be required to work in other locations and there may be other opportunities as part of the project subject to further funding.
Interviews are currently scheduled for 26 January 2026. If sufficient applications are received prior to the closing date, the role may be closed early.
