Qualifications

• Two years’ experience managing a culinary team in care or hospitality.
• Catering qualification – City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
• Ability to manage a budget and deliver high quality culinary standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culinary team to provide balanced, high‑quality meals within budget.
• Prepare modified diets in line with IDDSI guidance and ensure visual appeal.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, maintain stock levels and control costs.
• Supervise kitchen staff and Host team, instructing and guiding unqualified staff.
• Apply safe systems of work and assess risks to protect residents, visitors and staff.
