Zusammenfassung

Aramark UK is seeking a Head Chef at IRC Campsfield, Kidlington to lead the kitchen, manage budgets and menus, and maintain high culinary standards. The role requires DBS clearance, a UK work history, and the ability to pass security vetting. 40 hours weekly, 3 on 3 off, with 12-hour shifts 7:00 am–7:00 pm.

You will oversee daily operations, drive cost efficiency, and mentor kitchen staff and enhanced inmates, delivering quality meals in line with budgets and policies.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills (essential).
• Clean Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Experience in a similar educational environment.
• UK residency for past 5 years and right to work; pass security vetting/DBS checks.

Aufgaben

• Train and lead kitchen staff and enhanced inmates using standard food production methods.
• Identify training needs; conduct sessions on new procedures and equipment; maintain training/shift records.
• Develop cost-efficient solutions and ensure compliance with waste, menus and labour standards.
• Build strong client and customer rapport; monitor culinary trends and ensure high quality food presentation.
