Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland, in partnership with NEC Birmingham, is recruiting a Head Chef to lead the culinary operation at one of the UK’s busiest exhibition venues. You’ll manage a large kitchen, drive menu concepts, ensure high standards across exhibitions, conferences, and live events.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Head Chef or senior culinary leader in hospitality, events or similar.
Experience delivering high-quality food across exhibitions, conferences and live events.
Strong leadership to motivate and develop kitchen teams.
Excellent food safety, hygiene and HACCP practices.
Ability to manage food cost, waste and labour planning.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day kitchen operations maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Motivate, develop and coach a diverse kitchen team.
Deliver exceptional food across exhibitions, conferences and live events.
Collaborate with Executive Chef to realise Levy menus and concepts.
Plan production for high-volume event days and ensure readiness.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards.
