Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland is seeking a Head Chef to lead the Central Production & Events kitchen at the SEC, delivering first-class menus for conferences and exhibitions. You will manage ordering, prep and service, ensuring quality and profitability, while developing a talented kitchen team.

You will drive standards, safety and client satisfaction across all events, balancing operational excellence with cost controls and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a demanding food environment.
• Relevant Food safety qualifications.
• Experience of working with a client group.
• Previous P&L accountability.
• Ability to lead others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to influence and operate at all stakeholder levels.
• Ability to drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise ordering, preparation and food service for SEC Centre events.
• Monitor quality and maintain high standards of food service.
• Lead and develop the production kitchen team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and procurement procedures.
• Collaborate with clients and on-site teams to meet event needs.
