Job summary

Coro Lounge, part of Loungers, is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen and drive standards across shifts. You’ll recruit, coach and develop a kitchen team, ensure menus are executed to spec, and manage stock, costs and pass discipline to deliver consistent quality.

You’ll be supported by a growing hospitality group with progression opportunities and a competitive package including bonus, overtime, and staff discounts from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef, ready for next step.
• Strong leadership, coaching and development skills.
• Ability to manage GP, labour, stock and waste KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the kitchen, leading shifts from open to close.
• Recruit, develop and coach the kitchen team with clear development plans.
• Ensure menu specs and kitchen processes are followed and dishes leave the pass on spec.
• Own site action plan covering food wait times, stock, ordering and cleaning.
• Deliver on KPIs: quality, wait times, wastage and GP; report on performance.
• Schedule fair rotas aligned to bookings and sales forecast.
• Work closely with front of house to build a one-team culture.
