Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a high-energy Head Chef to lead the kitchen with purpose and inspire your team. You’ll be at the heart of the restaurant, directing the kitchen and delivering Italian favourites with pride.

You’ll work 48 hours per week across 5 days, with shifts scheduled in advance and access to a app to view schedules, swap shifts and drop shifts. You’ll earn £15.45–£17.51 per hour plus tronc and great perks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Commercial know-how – stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs.
• Great standards – food quality, cleanliness and HACCP.
• People skills – you’re a positive, hands-on leader who coaches people and builds a strong kitchen team.
• Pride in every plate – you understand that a great guest experience starts in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your General Manager to make the restaurant a success.
• Deliver consistently great food and maintain kitchen standards.
