Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Head Chef in Training to develop leadership in a busy kitchen within our pub brands across the UK. You will learn the Mitchells & Butlers way and progress to a Head Chef role in a district-driven environment.

For six months, you will receive structured training, lead your team, drive sales and guest satisfaction, and ensure food ordering, preparation and hygiene standards are met while delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• You may be currently working as a commercial catering manager, school kitchen manager, care home head chef, sous chef, deputy kitchen manager or the manager of an independent business or equivalent.
• Be able to drive, in order to support business in your district whilst training.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to consistently deliver high-quality food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team driving sales and guest satisfaction.
• Manage food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
