Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Head Chef in Training to lead a kitchen team across district sites, with you driving to the venues. Over six months you will learn to build a kitchen the Mitchells & Butlers way and be ready to step up quickly as a Head Chef.

You will train to deliver high-quality food, manage ordering, stock and hygiene, and work toward becoming a Head Chef. This is a structured progression at Mitchells & Butlers.

Qualifications

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• You may be currently working as a commercial catering manager, school kitchen manager, care home head chef, sous chef, deputy kitchen manager or the manager of an independent business or equivalent.
• Be able to drive, in order to support business in your district whilst training.

Responsibilities

• Across your 6 months of training, we will give you the tools to become a Head Chef who will...
• Train and inspire your team to consistently deliver high-quality food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team driving sales and guest satisfaction.
• Manage food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
