Job summary

The Star is seeking a confident Head Chef to lead our busy kitchen. You will guide a dedicated team, craft seasonal menus and ensure excellent service across lunch and dinner shifts.

You will manage GP and costing with a sharp eye on margins, control stock and wastage, and collaborate with front-of-house for a seamless dining experience. A passion for fresh, flavour-led gastro-style pub food is essential.

• Strong GP and costing knowledge with margins.
• Experience running a busy kitchen under pressure.
• Stock ordering, prep planning, and wastage minimisation.
• Collaborates with front of house for seamless service.

• Experience with buffets, sit-down events and dietary requirements.
