Head Chef - Fresh Food Led Inn

I have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate fresh food led role as Head Chef at the heart of a well-established village pub that is just outside of Winchester. This role will allow you to showcase your expertise and passion for creating freshly cooked seasonal dishes that will delight your loyal customers.

As Head Chef you will become the driving force behind the kitchen's success, you will grow a team as the demand grows and shape the future of the menu, as Head Chef you will enjoy full autonomy to put your stamp on your food offerings and freedom to choose locally sourced produce and suppliers.

Preferred Requirements:

• Confident in running a kitchen independently and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong knowledge of fresh, seasonal cooking and the ability to plan menus around margins and ingredient availability
• Organized with excellent prep, stock, and waste management skills
• Calm and level-headed during service, with the ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team
• Passionate about using quality, local ingredients to craft pub classics and home-cooked creations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Head Chef or a Sous Chef ready to take the next step
• Proven track record of delivering consistent, high-quality food and exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the owner and support the wider business needs
