Job summary

wagamama is looking for a head chef to run a fast-paced kitchen focused on fresh food and real people. You will lead the team, smash service, and ensure every bowl is something to be proud of in a no-microwave environment.

As head chef, you’ll coach your team to grow in confidence and skill, stay cool under pressure, and create a workplace where people want to work and guests can taste the pride.

Qualifications

• Head chef with leadership of a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience in fresh food, no microwaves, high standards.
• Ability to coach and develop a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen like your own and lead the team.
• Ensure every bowl meets brand quality and speed of service.
• Coach teammates to grow in confidence and skill.
• Stay calm under pressure and act quickly.
• Create a place where people want to work and guests taste pride.
• Identify and implement small improvements kaizen-style.
