Small but busy cafe in Manchester City Centre is looking for a Head Chef to join and run the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

- Running the kitchen, with speed of service and delivering consistent quality food.

- Daily ordering

- Effective cost and stock control

- Recruiting & training new staff

- General compliance cleaning

- Rotas and kitchen organisation

Attributes

- Ability to handle high pressure and maintain quality standards - we are small but busy, often with a queue.

- Be organised, communicative and compassionate with their team

- Keep communication strong, stock/ prep needs.

- Maintain a hygienic working environment.

Requirements

- Experience as Head Chef.

- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

- Up-to-date with brunch trend and passion for food.

Shifts would vary between starting 6:30/8/9am - finishing 4:30/ 6 (7pm on saturday)
