A highly regarded Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden is seeking a talented Head Chef with a strong background in seafood and a passion for Mediterranean flavours. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to lead a dynamic kitchen and create vibrant, flavourful dishes inspired by Italian and Greek coastal cuisines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations with a focus on fresh, seasonal seafood
• Design and execute an authentic Mediterranean menu with Italian and Greek influences
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and safety
• Train, mentor and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Collaborate with management on menu development and supplier sourcing
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Head Chef
• Strong expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly seafood
• Background in Italian or Greek kitchens is highly desirable
• Confident leader with excellent kitchen management and organisational skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
