Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Head Chef at the Peacock Inn to lead a kitchen that delivers high-standard dishes. You will inspire and manage the team, ensuring consistency and guest satisfaction across all meals served.

You’ll be responsible for kitchen operations, menu execution, and maintaining health and hygiene standards while driving targets and team motivation within a community-focused pub group.

Qualifications

• Experience as head chef or senior chef preferred.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to lead, train and inspire a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to consistently deliver high-quality food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team to boost sales and guest satisfaction.
• Kitchen management: food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Work with a branded menu and ensure consistency across outlets.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
