International Schools Today is seeking an experienced Head Chef for a term-time only, permanent position in Greater London. You will lead the catering team, oversee kitchen operations, and ensure high-quality, home-cooked meals for around 750 pupils and staff.

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will develop menus, manage food safety, and deliver excellent service for school events and daily meals with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a head chef or senior kitchen manager.
• Strong menu development and food safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Term-time Only (35 weeks), Permanent Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Chef to work with our friendly Catering team and manage the kitchen to ensure the provision of the highest quality food for students, staff and internal hospitality events. Reporting to the Catering Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the preparation and delivery of fresh, home-cooked meals for approximately 750 pupils and staff, and will have the freedom and opportunity to develop the food and menus.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional presentation, communication, and management skills, along with a genuine enthusiasm for food and outstanding customer service.
