Job Title: Head Chef

We're recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Sunday: Full-time (Days)

Note: This role is contracted to 39 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve food service
• Creating a positive kitchen environment supporting your team
• Delivering our food concepts effectively
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Managing stock control, food ordering, and waste reduction
• Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning responsibilities
• Managing budgets and meeting financial targets
• Ensuring compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
