We have a lovely Head Chef role available at a site based in Central London. This position is ideal for a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking to step up into a Head Chef role.
You will manage a KP and have the support of Company Support Chefs who work on events and functions as needed. The salary starts at £40,000 for a 40-hour week, with any additional hours taken as lieu.
Core hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm, with some flexibility required for evenings and events. Currently, the head chef manages to finish around 2.30/3pm on quieter days. There may be occasional weekend shifts, but these are infrequent.
Your responsibilities include catering for daily events and functions, ranging from 5 to 250 covers, producing high-quality dishes using sustainable and seasonal British ingredients, with plating to the highest standard.
The business levels fluctuate throughout the year, so some weeks may involve 3-4 events, while others may have none. This allows for flexibility to take days off when no events are scheduled.
The site operates for 9 months of the year, offering opportunities to work at other sites in the City during different parts of the year.
