About The Role
HC-One is looking for a Head Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Beyond qualifications, we value your positive energy and ability to get along with people. You should be organized, able to plan and prioritize independently, follow recipes precisely, and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
