Job summary

Auberge Resorts Collection is preparing Cambridge House in Mayfair for its opening, seeking a Director of Butler Services & In-Room Dining. You will shape bespoke Butler service and private dining experiences, set standards, and build a premium team to deliver effortless guest moments.

Joining in the pre-opening phase, you will implement service philosophy, recruit, train, and collaborate with Culinary, Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure a flawless guest journey and exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in luxury hospitality with a strong focus on Butler services or In-Room Dining.
• Experience in a pre-opening environment would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of luxury food and beverage service, guest preference management and relevant UK hospitality regulations.
• A natural ability to inspire, develop and support team members, creating an inclusive environment.
• Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence and discretion, with the confidence to handle complex requests with warmth.
• A keen eye for detail and commercial acumen to deliver consistent results.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver distinctive Butler and In Room Dining experiences reflecting Cambridge House's character and elegance.
• Support in the pre-opening journey, establishing service standards, operating procedures, recruitment, training and opening plans.
• Create personalised guest experiences through thoughtful anticipation, discreet service and memorable touches.
• Oversee all aspects of In-Room Dining, from order management to presentation, service quality and commercial performance.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Inspire and develop team members, fostering a welcoming culture of collaboration and pride.
• Establish training programmes that bring the Cambridge House service philosophy to life.
• Assist in managing departmental budgets, payroll, revenue, inventory and performance.
• Champion guest satisfaction, food safety, allergen management, confidentiality and continuous improvement.
• Play an integral role in preparing Cambridge House for opening.
