Job summary

The Londoner in London is seeking a Head Bartender for The Stage at our luxury hotel. You will lead the bar team, ensure high standards and guest satisfaction, and manage service standards across wines, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities include maintaining beverage knowledge, supervising opening and closing procedures, processing Micros orders, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-end environment.

Qualifications

• In-depth beverage knowledge including cocktails, wines and champagnes.
• Outstanding leadership skills with delegating and people management.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with staff across the bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations for The Stage at The Londoner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of drinks menu and make recommendations to guests.
• Direct bar team and ensure pre-opening checklist is completed and par stocks.
• Process Micros orders and ensure correct payments; manage cash handling.
• Coordinate closing procedures and accuracy in stock takes and reporting.
