- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury environment is beneficial
Your responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and Bar Manager with implementing and developing the concept and image of the Lobby Bar, including new drink products and menu implementation
- Be fully conversant with all bar operations and be flexible, i.e., able to do both bar and floor shifts if required
- Ensure all guests are greeted and served in line with company standards
- Ensure all guest orders are taken and prepared according to company standards
- Assume responsibility for shifts in the absence of the Lobby Bar Manager and Supervisor
- Ensure that food and beverage service to guests is of the expected standard, maintaining the reputation of the hotel
- Maintain complete working knowledge of the bar menu and be able to advise and recommend menu items to guests
